Summer Camp Bike Rodeo
On Friday the June 19th, 2009 Firefighters Carlo Valente, Rodney Kwiatkowski, Lt. Ryan Moore, hosted a Bike Rodeo for the "Safe Kid's Summer Camp".
This was an event to promote Bike Safety and the importance of wearing Bike Helmets. There were around 25 excited kids. The kids learned a lot and had a great time. All the children went home with fitted helmets, and the knowhow to keep their little melons safe. Carlo, Rodney, and Ryan did an outstanding job in the classroom and on the obstacle course. They prepared a great presentation and it was well received. The Safe Kid's Coordinator for All Children’s Hospital was impressed, and very pleased with our department.
