Firefighters Install Trail Markers at Robinson Preserve

Members of West Manatee Fire Rescue District’s A-Shift recently teamed with Manatee County Natural Resources Department (NRD) to install the first 29 trail markers at Robinson Preserve. This fire department community risk reduction project will aid emergency responders in locating park patrons during an unexpected emergency. Robinson Preserve’s trail markers are a pilot project for the Natural Resources Department and other County preserves could receive trail markers in the future.
