Jay Pinkley Retires
After 30 years with the West Manatee and West Side Fire Districts, Jay Pinkley’s last shift was May 24th at Station #1. Jay rode off into the sunset on his bike, appearing to be peddling as fast as he could.
Jay’s held many positions and ranks within the fire department, but he wanted to retire as a firefighter at Station #1 “riding backwards.”
The district wishes Jay and his wife Debby the best retirement brings.
