WMFR Announces Dan Tackett's Promotion to Lieutenant
West Manatee Fire Rescue is pleased to announce the promotion of Firefighter Dan Tackett to the rank of Lieutenant. Lt. Tackett began his career with the fire district as a volunteer in 2001 and was hired as a full time firefighter later that year. Lt. Tackett holds a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and is a state certified Fire Officer I, Fire Safety Inspector and Emergency Medical Technician.
Lieutenant Tackett serves on our District’s Safety Committee, Pension Board, and as the District’s Certified Peer Fitness Coordinator.
