West Manatee Launches Island Fireworks Safety Web Site
West Manatee fire rescue, along with The Manatee county Sherrif's office, Longboat Key Fire Department, Holmes Beach Police, Bradenton Beach Police, Longboat Key Police, City of Anna Maria, Town of Longboat Key, City of Holmes Beach, and the City of Bradenton Beach have formed a Fireworks Task Force in order to better manage crowd control, alcohol abuse, illegal use of fireworks, and to increase awareness and public safety around the community.
