Deputy Fire Chief Brett Pollock Honored
Fire Chief Andy Price presents Deputy Chief Brett Pollock his Executive Fire Officer Certificate. The EFOP is an intensive program designed to provide senior officers with a broad perspective on various facets of fire administration. It is 4 years in duration and requires the student to attend 4 courses at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg Maryland. Upon completion of each class the student must complete an applied research project that is reflective to the course work and issues surrounding their own organization. Deputy Chief Pollock joins an elite class of graduates and brings pride and respect to West Manatee Fire Rescue and its members.
